The Printed Garden Retreat
August 1st, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

This 3-part class will be the ultimate celebration of the summer garden! All materials provided, but bring botanicals (leaves and flowers) if you have some you love.
Note: Cyanotype requires the sun. In the event the sun does not shine on August 1st, there will be two back-up activities to ensure participants get a completed tote bag and also get the cyanotype experience; block printing tote bags during class using pre-carved blocks, and making mini cyanotype prints exposed using portable UV lamps.
We will work in two beautiful studios at Art House 360; Slate Blue Studios and Verona Maker Space. There will plenty of time to work through our art, with freedom to explore Art House and move between gel plate printing and flower pounding.
We will take a lunch break from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Snacks and drinks provided throughout the day. Refrigerator space is available, if needed. Art House 360 has a beautiful community room to lounge in and there is a nearby outdoor shelter to enjoy some outside time.
